You can get the "plot dot" (Free in the US Amazon store), or you can download a PDF here.

See if you can map out your major turning points, using this formula.

1.Ordinary world (start with lack)

2.Inciting incident (call to adventure)

3.1st plot point (point of no return)

4.1st pinch point (first battle)

5.Midpoint (victim to warrior)

6.2nd pinch point (second battle)

7.2nd plot point (dark night of soul)

8.Final battle (triumph-knowledge

Epilogue (come home changed)

You can get the "plot dot" (Free in the US Amazon store), or you can download a PDF here.

See if you can reduce teach turning point to one simple sentence, highlighting what happens, and why it matters (conflict/stakes). For example, "character has to (do this thing) before (this bad thing happens" or "destroyed after finding out the truth about (something) character wrestles with self-identity before vowing to (take action somehow)."

You can post a short comment below with your major turning points.
